Brief Description

A scalloped-edge coin featuring the numeral '10' in the center of the reverse, surrounded by a grain wreath. The obverse features the portrait of King Faisal II of Iraq facing right.

Historical Significance

This coin was issued during the reign of King Faisal II, the last King of Iraq. Faisal II became king at age 3 and was later overthrown and assassinated during the 14 July Revolution in 1958, which led to the establishment of the Republic of Iraq.
