The reverse side features a bobcat in stride, designed by artist Alex Colville. The obverse depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Historical Significance

This coin was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. Each denomination of 1967 Canadian coinage featured a different animal design to celebrate the centennial.
