The obverse features a profile portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with 'LIBERTY' on a hairband, surrounded by stars and the motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM'. The year 1921 is inscribed at the bottom.

Historical Significance

Designed by George T. Morgan, this was the final year of production for the Morgan Dollar. Production resumed in 1921 after a long hiatus to replace silver coins melted down under the Pittman Act of 1918, shortly before being replaced by the Peace Dollar design.

Estimated Value

$30.00 - $60.00 (Value varies based on mint mark and condition/grade)

Care Instructions

Do not clean or polish the coin, as this can severely decrease its numismatic value. Handle only by the edges and store in a PVC-free plastic flip or archival-safe container to prevent tarnishing and scratches.
