Historical Significance
The Eisenhower dollar was the first silver-dollar sized coin issued by the US Mint since the Peace Dollar ended in 1935. It was created to commemorate both Dwight D. Eisenhower, who died in 1969, and the Apollo 11 moon landing. It was the last large-size dollar coin circulated in the United States.

$1.05 - $2.00 (Circulated coins are generally worth face value; uncirculated or rare variety proof strikes can be worth more).
Care Instructions
To maintain value, avoid cleaning the coin with chemicals or abrasives, as this can damage the surface and reduce its collector grade. Handle by the edges to prevent skin oils from causing discoloration, and store in a cool, dry place in a PVC-free coin holder.
