Historical Significance
Designed by Victor David Brenner, the Lincoln Cent was first issued in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. The 'Wheat Ear' reverse design was used from 1909 until 1958, making this the second-to-last year of that specific reverse style before it was changed to the Lincoln Memorial.
Estimated Value
$0.02 - $0.05 (for circulated condition). Higher grades or specific mint errors can be worth more.
Care Instructions
Store in a cool, dry place inside a PVC-free coin holder or flip. Do not clean the coin with chemicals or abrasives, as this can permanently damage the surface and reduce numismatic value.
