While its obverse design remained the standard Kennedy portrait, the reverse featured a special Bicentennial design (Independence Hall) which is not visible in this image.

Circulated 1976 Kennedy Half Dollars are generally worth their face value (50 cents) to a few dollars, depending on their condition and mint mark (if present). Uncirculated examples can fetch slightly more. Silver clad proofs exist but are less common.
