Brief Description

Historical Significance

Issued to commemorate the XXIII Olympiad held in Los Angeles in 1984. It was the first time since 1921 that the U.S. Mint issued a silver dollar coin, and the 'Prestige' sets were a premium product line introduced in 1983 for collectors.
